Clayton Kershaw recorded a win & loss for the week, for a combined week of only 5 hits & an earned run allowed, walking four, while striking out 16 batters in 17 innings. In his victory against the Carolina Eagles, Kershaw pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out 6 batters. K is also for Kings, the team that Kershaw plays for. Clayton is this week's N.L. Pitcher of the Week.

Not too many players stood out on the offensive side of things for the National League, except for the Holland Hitchhikers' Will Middlebrooks. Middlebrooks' average may not be over .300 (.292 for the week, going 7-for-24), but he clobbered 4 home runs in the process (including a double) while knocking in 7 RBI, scoring 5 runs. Middlebrooks is this week's N.L. Player of the Week.
